Te Amo

Love is a beautiful song,felt inside heart all day long,

It starts with some smiles and contact of eyes,

Like distant stars sparkle in the evening skies.

Love is a light that illuminates the heart,

And stays with us even when days fall apart.

Love is a hidden feeling – that only the two souls know.

Love is a journey which even Ruskin Bond made,

But my love moves forward, come what may.

Daily at quiet evening as the sun goes down,

I watch her walking through the calm town.

She walks with her friend, talking and smiling,

Does she look for someone as she walks by,

Or does she just pass with a casual eye?

By chance our eyes meet for a second or two,

My heart leaps with joy,suddenly stirred by her view.
